    Very interesting aspect. I have a really bad debt collection agency after me that doesn’t even apply what I’ve paid to the account. Wish I could learn how to get rid of them! I recently refused to pay until they could show the payments I’ve already made.
    On another note – I read your thread about Apotheker & Associates. They nailed us two years ago and really scared the money right out of us with tons of screaming, threatening, and down right horrible treatment. We are close, within a year, to finishing off our payment agreement with them, which was twice as high a monthly payment then what we were paying the credit card company originally!
